WHO TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS?

IT JUST GOT DARK ON THE B STREAM

PUNTA GORDA, Florida October 4, 2025 – If things appear a bit dark around The B Stream offices, don't blame another Florida hurricane. Darkside Releasing has just signed a deal, making them the third new distributor to partner with the streaming service in as many weeks.

The Canadian based company is helmed by Vince D'Amato and Nicole Hancock D'Amato. If those names sound familiar to you, it may be from their association as producers for Creepy Six Films and the international giallo production company Brivido Giallo. The pair combine for over 40 years in genre film.

"Their slogan is simple: Wild. Genre. Films. And that's exactly what Darkside Releasing brings to The B Stream. We can't brag about being the uncensored bad boy of streaming if we don't continue to offer the wildest of films. Making this deal helps us secure that title for the foreseeable future," COO Brad Lyon shared.

Having already released such controversial films as Cannibal Holocaust A Serbian Film, and the upcoming release of The Profane Exhibit, The B Stream has proven to live up to their motto of letting the audience decide what's appropriate for them. Meanwhile, recent partnerships like the one with Cinephobia, which brought with it Brute 1976, further illustrated the streamer would release movies in the way they were intended. The B Stream and Cinephobia itself were the only two companies willing to release the Director's Cut to the public. They even released a comparison video showing how other services release some of the same movies like Butcher's Bluff, in manners the filmmakers never intended for audiences to see.

Darkside Releasing and Cinephobia Releasing join Synkronized as recent additions to the distributors list of companies releasing films on The B Stream. The ever growing list includes longtime industry staples such as MVD Entertainment alongside newer genre labels like Terror Films and Scream Team Releasing.

Operating as a subscription streaming service, The B Stream releases movies and TV series in the uncensored manner they receive each title. It never interrupts its viewers movie watching with advertisements and even features a social media element it calls The Hive (the community feature on its apps). Here subscribers can interact with each other, post their own videos and photos, and even request movies to be licensed. Subscriptions are available as low as $5.99 a month when purchased annually or no commitment required for only $7.99 a month. It can be found at thebstream.com and through your Apple and Google Play App stores. A 3-day free trial is currently being offered.
