THE B STREAM SYNCHRONIZES WITH NEW  DISTRIBUTOR

PORT CHARLOTTE, Florida August 18, 2025 – The ink is dry on a new agreement between The B Stream and longtime distributor Synkronized ("SKD").

For a quarter of a century SKD has acquired and released narrative films and documentaries all around the world. Originally headquartered in Europe, in 2004 SKD relocated its main offices to the United States and has since been part of the release of over 260 movies and TV shows. CEO Alex Cohen founded the company in 2025 and is a juror and board member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences since 2011.

The B Stream will be releasing numerous titles from SKD, many of which will be available this year for current subscribers. Though SKD is known to be protective of its titles, "we think B-Stream has an edge" and hopes The B Stream "becomes a longtime partner and a key streamer in the industry," Cohen stated. Likewise, COO Brad Lyon of the B Stream shared "Alex and Synkronized have an excellent history of releasing films and producing such for companies like Neon and LionsGate. They make for an excellent new ally in our journey to providing the best streaming experience for our subscribers."

SKD joins a growing list of companies The B Stream has made agreements with. Others include such industry standards as MVD Entertainment Group, Breaking Glass Pictures, and emerging genre powerhouse Terror Films who is releasing Hell House LLC: Lineage theatrically this week. In total, the B Stream library features titles from more than a dozen partner distributors.

Operating as a subscription streaming service, The B Stream releases movies and TV series in the uncensored manner they receive each title. It never interrupts its viewers movie watching with advertisements and even features a social media element it calls The Hive (the community feature on its apps). Here subscribers can interact with each other, post their own videos and photos, and even request movies to be licensed. Subscriptions are available as low as $5.99 a month when purchased annually or no commitment required for only $7.99 a month. It can be found at thebstream.com and through your Apple and Google Play App stores.  A 3-day free trial is currently being offered.
