TAMPA, Florida August 13, 2025 – The B Stream, the new Netflix alternative for “B” movies, horror films, and cult favorites, is expanding into distribution. B Stream Releasing is a new division of the company that will handle theatrical, TVOD, SVOD and AVOD distribution of newly acquired films. 

The move to launch the division early than anticipated came after acquiring exclusive rights to Killer Keg from parent company Lyon Productions. With Killer Keg already set for a limited theatrical release and an exclusive window of release on SVOD through The B Stream, this became an ideal time to take advantage of the transactional video on demand element built into the service. 

B Stream Releasing will actively look to acquire additional films for release on The B Stream as well as through additional avenues such as theatrical releasing.

It never interrupts its viewers movie watching with advertisements and even features a social media element it calls The Hive (the community feature on its apps). Here subscribers can interact with each other, post their own videos and photos, and even request movies to be licensed.
